Many community members gather to supply funds, food, necessities and clothing banks. There are many volunteers helping with
transportation, utilities, prescriptions, gasoline, rental assistance,
carpentry, vehicle repairs, fire wood and chore services.
Churches originally contributing to the center were St. Joseph
Catholic -Colbert, Northview Bible, Whitworth Presbyterian, Timberview
Christian Fellowship, Covenant United Methodist, Christian Life Church,
Greenbluff United Methodist, Chattaroy Community, Crossover Church, New
Creation Fellowship, Mount Spokane Church and Colbert Chapel.
This wonderful group make up the Client Services Committee. They are volunteers meeting each month to work out better ways to serve our clients.
New Hope Resource Center is a non-profit faith-based, ecumenical social service organization. It helps low-income families with financial emergencies such as utilities or rent, toiletries, and clothing, including seniors requiring assistance with chore services. It is based in Colbert, Washington.
